Demons, spirits, monsters, and gods — the same mythic powers that have guided and haunted humanity since time immemorial — no longer need to hide their part in the geopolitical powerplay. Striking deals with mortals, they bestow upon them boons of magical, reality-bending abilities.

Corporations and individuals who become aware of these spiritual beings vie for their power, eager to harness it in their endless war for control. At the same time, technology continues to enhance humans beyond their point of origin, into cybernetic beings that could contend with the gods.

In a thriving shadow market, cybernetically-enhanced assassins, demonic hired guns, and privateer temple raiders race to secure legendary assets and survive another day.
