Iron-on vs Hook-and-Loop: what’s the difference?

Iron-on patches use a pre-applied glue on the back that melts with heat for a clean bond to fabric; the glue is solid before heating, so there’s no sticky mess. Hook-and-loop patches feature a black hook fastener on the back and are compatible with all brands of hook-and-loop fasteners. These patches are often referred to as Morale Patches or Tactical Patches. Our hook-and-loop option includes a free matching loop fastener to sew onto garments if desired, and the material can also adhere to surfaces like car ceilings, wool, and fleece.
